St. Maarten sneak peak...

Tyler and I joined part of my family in the Caribbean on the island of St. Maarten for a week in July.  Here is a sneak peak.  More to come once I get all the photos.

Best Friend Visits Cali 2008!

Our best friend, Jason Eaken, came for a long weekend visit this past weekend. Jason was here for about 3 weeks last year for work, and will actually be moving here in less than a year. So this visit will have to tide us over until then. Jason and Tyler went to high school together and he also did a very special reading at our wedding.

This weekend we did everything like a UCB comedy show (of course), getting action figures near Santa Monica Pier (ask Tyler why, better explained in person), a Dodger game, boogie boarding at the beach, seeing The Wizard of Oz at the Arclight, and trying a new sushi restaurant that was amazing (if you come to visit, this place is going to be a must!). Us at the Arclight.  AFI plays one showing of classing movies from time to time.  Just like Chicago's movies in the park except without the sweeping beautiful view of downtown, wine and cheese, and free admission.  But just like that...really.


Our first Dodger game!  Woo hoo!  We got 1/2 off tickets because we are Disney annual pass holders.  What what!
